Harvested from the North Atlantic waters near Maine. The meat from the Monkfish's tail section is firm, sweet and white colored. Cooked Monkfish has a firm texture almost like Lobster Tail meat, thus getting the name "Poor Man's Lobster." Monkfish fillets are always skinless and boneless.

Shipped in heavy Styrofoam inner boxes with frozen gel packs. Additionally we use a plastic inner liner to reduce possible water leakage and to assist in maintaining a cool temperature. Click here for more information.
